The history of the creation of machines such as forklifts began in the 20s of the last century. The reason for the appearance of this technology was the intensive development of industry. The introduced conveyor technologies made it possible to significantly increase the number of goods produced. Their scale required the automation of loading and unloading processes in connection with the release of large quantities of goods.

Electric forklifts and forklifts Balkankar

During the existence of the USSR, Bulgaria was given an important role as a manufacturer of forklifts and other handling equipment for the socialist camp.

The first Bulgarian loader was produced in 1952. And already in 1964, a number of leading Bulgarian enterprises and research institutes united under the Balkankar trademark.

This association was so successful that in 1978 the Balkankar holding took first place in the world in terms of production of loading and unloading equipment such as electric or diesel forklifts, electric cars and electric trolleys. By 1992, the production volume of Balkankar loaders reached over two million units, of which over one million vehicles were delivered to the USSR.

Bulgarian Balkancar loaders have gained great popularity not only in the Soviet Union and other socialist countries, but also in neighboring capitalist states.

The Balkancar forklift has proven itself well in the markets of socialist countries as a reliable, convenient and unpretentious equipment for transporting goods. All models were well adapted to our, far from easy, operating conditions, since they were developed taking into account all the requirements of the Soviet, and subsequently the Ukrainian market, as the main consumer.

The price of Balkancar forklifts is much lower than models of other brands of similar forklifts, and repair and maintenance of Bulgarian forklifts does not cause any particular difficulties, due to the fact that original spare parts for the Bulgarian forklift are constantly supplied to specialized warehouses.

It is also worth noting that the Balkankar electric and auto-loader is much cheaper to repair and maintain than its competitors from both the west and the east. What makes the Balkankar forklift out of competition, giving customers the opportunity to make their choice in favor of such inexpensive and reliable equipment as a Bulgarian forklift.
