Ahlmann Loader History

In 1952, the visionary mind of Ahlmann birthed the world's inaugural loader, a pioneering achievement that set the stage for a legacy of innovation. By 1996, the products crafted by Ahlmann Baumaschinen had earned the esteemed ISO 9001 certification, underscoring the indispensable role of comprehensive employee training in fostering a culture of unparalleled quality. The dissolution of the Ahlmann group in 1994 led to the emergence of Ahlmann Baumaschinen, a phoenix rising from the corporate reorganization.

Fast forward to 2002, Mecalac S.A., a French powerhouse, seized a commanding 76% stake in Ahlmann Baumaschinen, while the remaining 24% found a home in the portfolio of the illustrious French company Manitou. Today, as an integral member of the MECALAC AHLMANN Group, the company steadfastly pursues the creation, development, production, and sale of top-tier goods. Its cutting-edge machines stand as veritable titans, seamlessly executing a myriad of indispensable functions that propel industries forward. Clients, the lifeblood of any enterprise, are granted exclusive access to the wealth of expertise, experience, and a thriving community fostered by Mecalac and Ahlmann.

Ahlmann, an avant-garde force, spearheaded the integration of diverse functions within a single machine, forever changing the landscape of industrial equipment. Notably, Mecalac's trajectory deviated from conventional norms, steering from loaders to excavators, defying industry expectations. The 1970s witnessed AHLMANN supplying cutting-edge equipment to the Bundeswehr army, solidifying its reputation as a supplier of choice for complex military needs.

On the other side of the spectrum, Mecalac, an offspring of French ingenuity, entered the scene in the 2000s. A strategic merger between Mecalac and AHLMANN ushered in a new era, characterized by the assimilation of German Hydraulics BOSH-REXROTH and Schispere bridges into the fabric of the French giant. This transformative period marked Mecalac's rebirth, akin to a phoenix ascending from the ashes.

Venturing into the 2000s, Mecalac expanded its repertoire, introducing groundbreaking additions such as UNSECLINED fully-rotary excavators and tracked full-rotary backhoe loaders. These multifaceted marvels earned the moniker of "MULTIFUNCTIONAL MACHINES," embodying versatility beyond the realms of mere digging and loading. The plethora of available attachments transforms these machines into unparalleled tools capable of tackling an extensive array of tasks.

The crown jewel of their loader lineup lies in its exceptional features — an unparalleled combination of high speed, a 180-degree front boom, and a rich assortment of attachments. Noteworthy among their offerings is an 8-ton rubber-tracked backhoe loader, adorned with high-speed caterpillar tracks, a testament to the relentless pursuit of excellence that defines MECALAC AHLMANN Group.
